Aaron Morrison has been appointed as the CEO of Racing Victoria.
Aaron Morrison has been appointed as the new CEO of Racing Victoria (RV) by the Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Morrison was the COO and CFO of Racing Victoria when he arrived in 2017, and he was appointed interim CEO in May 2024. He had also been a member of numerous racing industry committees, including Racing.com and RSN 927, which are media companies.
Morrison had previously served as the CEO of the Sand Hill Road Group and had held prominent executive positions with Crown Resorts and SkyCity Entertainment Group, including the position of General Manager of Adelaide Casino, before joining RV.
Tim Eddy, the Chairman of RV, was overjoyed to welcome Morrison to the team.
"Aaron has exhibited a remarkable capacity to establish strong relationships with staff, stakeholders, and the government, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the industry's breadth and complexity while at RV."
"Throughout his tenure as Interim CEO, Aaron has further exhibited his capabilities, and we are confident that we have a highly capable individual to guide the industry through a critical period in its future," he stated.

Racing Victoria's most recent development involved a collaboration with TripleSDate (TSD) and Total Performance Data (TPD) to incorporate a live-odds engine that will generate in-the-run odds. The system will also leverage TSD's Smart tracking system to improve the instantaneous odds-tracking experience for its customers.
